How do I create a movie with just lips on the screen ( like rocky horror picture show)?
I think the way they did it on Rocky Horror was to have a black background, and to completely black the face before adding the red lipstick (if you look closely at the opening scene you can see the shadow of the outline of the head). Then it’s as though they did an extreme close up of the person’s lips as they were singing, so you can’t see anything other than the lips. The only other way I can think of is if you have a closely fitting black hood, with a hole cut out for the lips. Then you could black up the lip area, to cover any parts the hood didn’t cover, before adding the red lipstick. I’m not a video or film maker or anything – it’s just an opinion.
