How do I counteract the blind effect from the Boots of Blinding Speed? How come when I equip them I can still see, although things aren as bright?
If you want to take advantage of what seems to be a bug so you can still see while wearing the Boots of Blinding Speed, you’ll need an item that can cast Resist Magicka, or be able to cast the spell yourself. Cast Resist Magicka and then equip the boots. You should still be able to see somewhat (depending on the magnitude of the Resist Magicka effect, the higher the magnitude the more you should be able to see). Now the part that seems to be a bug is that when your Resist Magicka effect wears off, you’ll still be able to see as if you had it active. So you should be able to see until you remove the boots. Note that if you want to do this without taking advantage of what some would consider a bug, there is at least one item in the game with a constant effect of Resist Magicka.
