How do I correct my credit report because of my Exs actions after the divorce?
As much as I hate to tell you this a divorce decree is worthless except to take you ex back to court and sue them for violation of the decree. Your lenders are not legally bound by the decree since they had no say in the matter. If you ex continues to miss payments it will effect your credit as much as theirs. The only thing you can do is drag them back into court and sue. Good luck. Additional details: Is there any way you can take over the home payments until it sells? If not this foreclosure is going to hurt your credit just as much as it will hers since she did not refinance like she was supposed too.
