How do I copy the configuration from my old Codian unit to my new one ?

• Connect to the original unit using FTP (with the same administrator username and password that you would use to connect to its web interface) and retrieve the configuration.xml file. • Take a backup of the new MCU’s original configuration.xml file. Among other things, this ensures that you have a copy of its activation keys. • Connect to the new unit by FTP and replace its existing configuration.xml file with the one that you just copied from the old unit. Much of this configuration will take effect immediately but you should reboot the unit. • Reboot and check that everything is working as expected and that its original feature activation keys are present. You can re-apply these after the reboot, if necessary.
