How do I convert WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS documents to Microsoft Word 97?
When you open any WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS document in Microsoft Word 97, Word 97 automatically converts the document. However, when you save the document, it will be saved as a WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS documentunless you ask Word 97 to do otherwise. To save a WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS document as a Microsoft Word 97 document, choose File | Save As, and change Save as type to “Word Document (*.doc)”. You may also want to change the File name:, but that is not required.
