How do I convert the time between Greenwich Mean Time and the local time?

0

All of the forecast’s data sources and the ARPS program itself uses a standardized time zone of Greenwich Mean Time (technically Coordinated Universal Time) to make it easier to refer to data without having to reference multiple time zones. In Eastern Standard Time during winter, the offset of time is -5 hours, while Eastern Daylight Time’s offset is -4 hours. The server does not refer to the local server time throughout any of the forecast.
