How Do I Convert Peachtree customer and vendor data and import into UA?

Financial data can be converted and imported into UA, but an experienced Access programmer or UA reseller needs to do this. However, customer and vendor contact information can be imported into UA quite easily by following these steps (using customer info as an example): 1. Export the customer data from Peachtree into an ASCII file and then open it up in Excel and save as an Excel Worksheet. To Export this data, check the Help in Peachtree. 2. In MSAccess open up a new database. 3. In the tables tab, righ click and choose import. Make sure the file type is Microsoft Excel. Choose import in the dialog box. Answer the wizard questions by choosing next for each question. 4. When the new table is created, righ click on the table and choose SaveAs/Export and save it in another database (the bottom choice).
