Click “Open.” Your file will open in InDesign.Troubleshoot Your FileUse the Adobe dialog box in the lower left corner of the “Open a file” box if your file does not open initially. Try to save as a copy by clicking on clicking in “Copy” in the “Open a file box.” If the converted QuarkXpress file is problematic while you use it, go to “File,” “Export.” Save the file in InDesign Markup (IDML) format. Close out of the file. Reopen it in the IDML file format.
