How do I convert a B12S20 sausage gun to dispense 10oz cartridges?
The B12S20 sausage -> cartridge conversion is simple. A wrench is helpful, but not necessary. No extra parts are needed. Attached is a parts diagram for reference. 1. Remove the front cap (#873-5) 2. Remove the barrel (#873-8) 3. Unscrew the black plastic piston from the end of the rod (#873-6). This can be done by hand because the piston is molded around the nut (#37-37). 4. Remove the metal pusher (#873-10). Turn the nut that remains on the rod until it is about half way up the threaded section. Put the metal pusher back on the rod facing in the same direction (outwards) and secure it in place with the first nut. 5. Adjust the location of the metal pusher on the rod so that the rod end does not project beyond the pusher. Tighten up the two nuts around the metal pusher with a wrench. 6. Replace the barrel. The gun is now ready to dispense cartridges.
