If you wish to have a page of your own displayed instead of the Alias listing when a client views your site, you need to have a blank Alias (yes, you can do this by simply entering nothing when it asks for the Alias). Within the folder referenced by the blank Alias you need to have an index.htm (or index.html). As you may know, this file should be in HTML format. For more information on HTML, search the web for “HTML tutorial”. If you do not wish for a folder listing to be displayed for a given Alias path, you need to have an index.htm (or index.html) file located in the folder referenced by that Alias path.
