How do I connect to TalkTalk (Carphone Warehouse) phone tariffs?
You can connect to TalkTalk through Wholesale Line Rental (WLR). WLR is a product that BT is obliged to provide to other home phone suppliers, allowing them to offer both line rental and calls to customers, over BT’s local network. If you select a supplier offering WLR you will no longer have a contract with BT, but with the new supplier. Your bills will only be sent from your new WLR supplier. Switching to WLR doesn’t involve any work on your phone line and you keep your existing phone number. It is only available to customers who have a BT line.
