The PS3 is able to configure itself for Internet access for most types of connections, and features a rear-mounted Ethernet port. Connect your PS3 to your broadband modem or router to connect it to the Internet via Ethernet. Confirm that you have a working Internet connection by connecting a computer to your broadband modem or router and attempting to browse.
