How do I connect remotely to the DVR system for remote viewing and configuration?

0

Start the ‘Remote Agent’ program. Click the wrench icon to enter the Local Configuration. Right click on ‘Sites’. Select ‘Add Group’. Name the Group. Click on the new group name. Name the DVR. Enter the DVR IP Address. The port is 6100. The username is ‘ADMIN’ (case-sensitive). The password is 1234. Assign each camera from the DVR to a viewing screen by clicking the drop-down boxes that correspond to the 16-channel 4×4 view. When you have finished the configuration of your DVR, click ‘ADD’. Click ‘OK’. Now that the DVR has been set up in the Remote Agent software, you may use the drop-down box on the right-side of the screen to select your DVR by name, and click the (left) ‘Connect’ button to attempt to connect to your DVR. A dialog box will show the status. Once the DVR is connected, you should start seeing live video. If you are seeing camera titles but no video, please check to make sure that your PC meets the Minimum System Requirements to run the Remote Agent software.
