How do I connect my HP iPAQ to my wirless network?
Sounds like your iPAQ doesn’t support WPA2 in its present form. You might check HP’s website for a firmware update. You might lose all your settings during a firmware update because you may have to do a hard reset first (or after). In the meantime, possibly there is a WPA2 AES+TKIP setting in your wireless router/AP that will allow it to connect… otherwise you’ll need to set your router/AP down to WPA-TKIP. When the iPAQ asks for 5 or 10 characters it’s trying to use 64-bit WEP (128-bit WEP uses 13 ASCII or 26 HEX characters), for what it’s worth.
