how do i connect a sub amp to my stock lexus radio?
Hey guy’s and gal’s, I got a 2002 Lexus es300 and tried to put a sub amp in, but got no sound. I used the input on the amp that is a wire input, not the RCA input. Oh yeah the stock wiring I used frome the car is the pos/neg that goes to the stock 8inch sub in the rear dash. What am I doing wrong? Also the radio in the car is the premium sound system. A: You answered your own question. You have the premium sound system in the car. IF you are adding the aftermarket amplifier you will have to bypass the factory amplifier. Because your getting an amplified signal from the premium sound system amp, going to the input on the aftermarket amp. They just don’t work that way.
