To confirm if Linux detects iTegno GPRS modem, follow the instructions below. At the terminal window, go to root. Type “Dmesg” at the command prompt. This command will list out the components attached to your Linux. The iTegno GPRS Modem will be identified as PL2303.C. A detected modem will be assigned to a USB address, e.g. ttyUSB0.
