How do I configure Windows XP for cable modem?
Open the Control Panel in Windows XP. Click on the Start menu in the lower left corner, and then click on the Control Panel icon on the right.Open the TCP/IP properties for the network interface card. Double-click on the network connections icon in the Control Panel. That will open another window where you will be presented with your network connections. You will click on the connection labeled “Local Area Connection” with your right mouse button, and then click on “Properties” with the left mouse button.
