• A: The software appliance can be configured to work with HTTP 1.1 standards compliant proxy servers which support the HTTP CONNECT method for tunneling SSL connections. The proxy server must be configured to allow HTTP CONNECT methods to be run to the Extreme subnet at 65.203.233.128/26 on port 443. The proxy must also be setup to allow client connections with either no authentication or HTTP basic authentication. Other authentication methods such as Digest or NTLM are not currently supported.
