Chapter 3, Data Stores, in the Sun Java System Access Manager Administration Guide describes the data stores supported by Access Manager and the steps for configuring them. By default, to conform with Access Manager’s user management schema, the Access Manager SDK plug-in is configured for the root realm and is supported for Sun Java System Directory Server (henceforth, Directory Server). While installing Access Manager, you configure the required object classes and attributes. The data store of identity plug-ins is configured to obtain identity data, such as users, groups, and roles. You configure the plug-ins for such data in the root realm and subrealms.
