How do I configure my pSeries LPAR server to run as a Full System Partition?
The HMC provides a power-on option for the pSeries LPAR servers called Full System Partition. All processors, all memory, and all I/O slots are automatically assigned to this special type of partition. In other words, it works like a simple SMP server with a single operating system, much the same as any traditional pSeries system.
