1. Open Microsoft Flight Simulator2004. 2. When in the first menu select Settings. 3. Select Control Assignments. 4. Click on the tab labeled Joystick Axes. 5. On the “joystick type” combo box, select the CH Pro Pedals USB (on some machines this may read HID 3 axis, 1 button controller). 6. Delete all assignments until all axis are empty (the assignments may already be empty). 7. Next, click on the rudder axis then click the button labeled Change Assignment. 8. Very carefully using only your HEELS move the rudder pedals back and forth. You should now see Axis Z. Click OK (the green check mark). 9. Next, click on the Left Toe Brake axis then click the button labeled Change Assignment. 10. Very carefully using only your LEFT TOES press the left toe brake down and then release it. You should now see Axis X. Click OK. 11. Then place a check mark in the Reverse box to the right of the axis listing. 12. Next, click on the Right Toe Brake axis then click the button labeled Change Assignment.
