How do I configure my MAC running OS X to connect to Phreego?
Open your Network Preferences window. (To do this, click on the Apple menu, choose “Location”, and then choose “Network Preferences”.) Select the TCP/IP tab. In the TCP/IP window, make sure that “Configure” is set to “Using PPP”. “Domain Name Servers” and “Search Domains” should be left blank. Select the PPP tab. Enter “Phreego” for service provider. Enter a local phone number from the phreego pop list. If you have call waiting, you should enter “*70,” before the phone number to disable call waiting while you are on the Internet. “Alternate Number” can be left blank. In the Account Name box, enter your login name with @phreego.net appended to it (Example: username@phreego.net). In the Password box, enter your password. Put a check in the “Save Password” checkbox. Select the Proxies tab. Make sure that nothing is selected in this window. Select the Modem tab.
