• Open Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. • When in the first menu select Settings. • Select Control Assignments. • Click on the tab labeled Joystick Axes. • On the “joystick type” combo box, select the CH Flight Sim Yoke USB (on some machines this may read HID 5 axis, 12 button controller). • Delete all assignments until all axis are empty (the assignments may already be empty). • Next, click on the elevator axis then click the button labeled Change Assignment. • Move your yoke in and out. You should now seeAxis Y. Click OK (the green check mark). • Next, click on the aileron axis then click the button labeled Change Assignment. • Move your yoke left and right. You should now see Axis X. Click OK . • Next, click on the throttle axis then click the button labeled Change Assignment. • Move your left most lever up and down. You should now see Axis Z. Click OK. • Next, click on the propeller axis then click the button. • Move your middle lever up and down. You should now see Axis Z Rotation
