How do I configure Mac Messenger 7.x for use with the Hosted UC Trial?
There are a few steps that are a bit different from Office Communicator, but it still works as expected. 1. Log into Outlook or Outlook Web Access and open the mail that says Welcome to Exchange Unified Messaging. Note the seven digit number that is listed for Your Extension: 2. Open Mac Messenger 7. On the View menu, make sure that there is a check mark next to Corporate Contact List. Click Sign in with a different account or change your online status. 3. This should open the Corporate Settings dialog. Ensure that Use my network ID and password is not selected. Then, fill in the following: a. For Email address, use your UCTrial email, such as first.last@uctrial.com b. For User ID, use EXCH2007DEMO as the domain and your seven digit Exchange UM extension for the email name. If your extension is 2224444, this would be EXCH2007DEMO\2224444 c. For Password, enter your UCTrial.com password. 4. Press OK, and log into Mac Messenger.
