• Open Internet Explorer after installing the RealPlayer G2. • From the View menu, select Options. • In the Options dialog box, click the Programs tab. • On the Programs tab, click the File Types button. This opens the File Types window. • Select the New Type button. This opens the New Types window. • Complete the following information: Description of Type: RealMedia File Content Type (MIME): application/vnd.rn-realmedia Default extension for content type: .rm • Click the New button. This opens the New Action window. Complete the following information: Actions: Open Application used to perform action: Browse to the RealPlayer (default is c:\program files\real\realplayer\realplay.exe) • Click the OK button on each window to accept the changes. Repeat the steps above for each of the file types whose information is listed below.
