How do I configure FoxyTunes for Media Player Classic?
• Choose Player > Select > GenericPlayer. • Choose Player > Options > Media Player Classic (FoxyTunes 0.61+) or open the Player > Options > Custom and enter -c “MediaPlayerClassicW” -m 1. • In the Media Player Classic, open the View > Options dialog. • Navigate to Player > Keys • Make the following changes: • Command Play/Pause – Key VK_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE • Command Play – Key VK_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE • Command Pause – Key VK_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE • Command Stop – Key VK_MEDIA_STOP • Command Next – Key VK_MEDIA_NEXT_TRACK • Command Previous – Key VK_MEDIA_PREV_TRACK • The playback controls do not seem to work if the player is minimized (reportedly, they do work when the player is minimized to the system tray). If this is the case, you can make the player window small and just keep it in the background (without minimizing it).
