How do I configure an external application for single sign-on from the Portal?

The following steps describe how to configure the Login Server on Oracle9iAS Portal to do single sign-on against an example external application (MyYahoo!). First, log in to Oracle9iAS Portal as an administrator. Once you have logged in, click the Administer tab of the Administrator’s home page. Click the “Login Server Administration” link under the “Services” heading. Once you are on the Login Server Administration page, click “Administer External Applications”. This displays a list of external applications already configured, including Hotmail and OracleMobile. To add MyYahoo, click the “Add External Application” link. The Create External Application page pops up.
