Download Software UpdatesInsert the CD or DVD that came with your Bluetooth mouse, or visit the manufacturer’s website to download drivers for the device. Install the drivers or updates before turning on the mouse.Pair the MouseOpen “System Preferences” under the “Apple” menu and select the “Mouse” control panel. Click “Setup Bluetooth Mouse” and slide the Bluetooth mouse power switch to the “up” position to turn it on. After five seconds, the power light on the underside of the mouse flashes to indicate thaat the mouse is in discovery mode, at which point it can be paired to the computer. Select your Bluetooth mouse from the list of Bluetooth devices in the “Search System Preferences” window. Click “Continue” to finish pairing the mouse.Verify ConnectivityMove the mouse around the desktop and verify the connection. Change mouse settings as you desire in the “Mouse” System Preferences window.
