How do I conduct an advanced news search with specific parameters?
The advanced search feature in the news tool is closed by default, so you need to click the Advanced Search button to expose additional search parameters. You can create a custom news search using a variety of criteria, including keywords, news types, timeframe, providers, sectors, and lists. You may also enter multiple symbols in the symbol entry box, or use the Lists drop-down menu to choose specific securities from your accounts or watch lists. Use the “All” check box within the drop down menu to quickly select or deselect all options. When finished entering your choices, click Search to retrieve the results.
