How Do I Completely Remove Trend Micro From My Computer?
Trend Micro is a software publisher of Trend Micro Internet Security, Internet Security Pro and the antivirus products that protect your computer from online threats. Although a solid program, some users find it difficult to completely remove the product using Windows “Add/Remove Programs” feature. However, the program has a built-in uninstall tool that completely deletes Trend Micro from your computer. Go to the “Start” menu and select “My Computer” or “Computer.” Double-click the “C:\” drive and then the “Program Files” folder. Double-click the “Trend Micro” folder and then “Internet Security.” Double-click the “TISSuprt.exe” file and click the “[E] Uninstall” tab in the newly opened “Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit” window. Click “Uninstall” and follow the on-screen prompts to uninstall Trend Micro and restart your computer. Navigate to the “Program Files” folder again and delete the “Trend Micro” folder (if present).
