Here are the steps to perform a complete uninstall of the TapRooT® System Software: 1 – Go to your Desktop and double-click on the “My Computer” icon Go to “C:\Program Files\TapRooT” folder at this point and run the Reset TapRooT Registry Key.reg file 2 – Go to Start – Control Panel and double-click “Add/Remove Programs” icon. This will open the Add/Remove Programs window we can uninstall the TapRooT® System Software Select “TapRooT® System Software” and press [REMOVE] to remove the software 3 – Scroll up until you find “Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine(TAPROOT)” and press [REMOVE] to remove the software. Once these programs have been removed, you can close the window. 4 – Go to “C:\Program Files\” and delete the [TapRooT] folder. 5 – Within “C:\Program Files\” you will find a folder called [Microsoft SQL Server]. Delete the folder called [MSSQL$TAPROOT]. 6 – Make sure to empty the recycle bin before re-installing the software. Uninstall is now complete!
