How do I complete a firmware update if the ZonePRO device is stuck waiting for flash download?
If the unit is frozen with Waiting for Flash Download in the display, the ZonePRO unit and the GUI (Zone Pro Designer) are in a non communicative state. You will not be able to proceed with the update from within Zone Pro Designer. Please try the following: 1. Disconnect the Network Cable from the computer. 2. Reboot the computer 3. Re-connect the Network cable and run the updater from WINDOWS by choosing START> dbx PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS>ZONE PRO FLASHER. 4. When the ZonePRO Flasher appears, Select the correct COM Port and choose FLASH. 5. If this does not solve the problem, re-install the latest firmware updater at the following link and SAVE the install files to your computer. 6. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
