Hi-Cap Flex is for port speeds of NxT1/E1 and up and charges are based on the monthly Minimum Bandwidth Commitment (MBC) and possible sustained usage above that. To calculate overage usage for Hi-Cap Flex sites take the 95% usage in MBPS minus your Minimum Bandwidth Commitment to determine the MBPS of overage then convert the MBPS to KBPS using the factor of 1000 (units invoiced in KBPS). Example: 95% usage of 243.3 MBPS minus the MBC of 155 MBPS = 88.3 MBPS of overage * 1000 KBPS/1 MBPS = 88,300 KBPS. Note: since only the 1st decimal position is displayed on the report there will be rounding differences due to the different decimal positions, so the invoice could show a number of units ranging between 88,250.0000 and 88,349.0000 (KBPS).
