CPT 90766 (renumbered 96366 for 2009) is used for each additional hour, for greater than 30 minutes beyond 1 hour. Also use the J code for the agent, J0256 Injection, alpha 1-proteinase inhibitor – human, 10 mg. Use this code for brands of alpha 1-proteinase inhibitor.
