Select: File > Exit to close each application. NOTE: The MICROSOFT OFFICE toolbar that appears on the desktop is an application that runs in the background and does not always appear to be active. Make sure that you exit this launcher tool as well. There are other applications that behave similarly to this toolbar, for example, video display tools, screen-savers, and others.
