How do I clear a paper jam that displays a “clear paper path” message, on the front panel of KODAK DCP 9000?
Remove the paper tray and use a lint-free cloth with alcohol on it to clean the “Pick Roller.” Look inside the paper tray opening and upward to locate the two inch long roller. This roller can have oil residue on it and should be cleaned when ever a picking problem occurs. It is recommended that this roller be cleaned before the KODAK DCP 9000 is used for the first time. See KODAK DS DCP 9000 User Guide – part no 4B9849 page 4 – 3 for full explanation. Do not remove the plastic dust cover that folds back on top of the paper tray. It is part of the alignment mechanism to keep the paper tray in the proper position. Only use the DCP 9000 reciever materials (paper). Do not cut the paper down to a smaller size as the DCP 9000 needs full sheets of media tofunction properly. • How do I eliminate white spots or streaks that appear on the proofs?
