Cleaning a Pool Vacuum BrushUnplug the vacuum from the above-ground pool filtration system. If possible, remove the vacuum brush attachment from the rest of the assembly. Pick out any large debris from the bristles by hand. Stick a thin instrument, such as a wooden dowel, between the bristles to pull out any matter stuck at the base of the vacuum brush head. Rinse out the brush with clean water from a garden hose. Reattach the brush to the vacuum.
