How do I clean the LitterMaid litter box?
Check to make sure the Rake is in the Home Position. b) Turn the On/Off Switch to the off position. c) Unplug the unit and remove the batteries to prevent accidental activation of the unit. d) Lift the latches on both sides of the unit and lift up by the side panel handles this will separate the tray from the Main Housing. e) Dispose of the used litter. Wipe the Litter Tray with a damp cloth. If further cleaning is necessary, the Litter Tray can be fully immersed in water and washed with a mild detergent. Important: Do not soak or immerse the Main Housing in water. Dry the unit completely before reassembling.
