Laptop screens are typically made of a plastic that has a special anti-glare coating. Because they are not glass, you should not clean them as you would glass products. Chemicals found in many cleaning products, including glass cleaners, can seriously damage laptop screens. Along with choosing cleaning materials carefully, you must also use a gentle touch when cleaning. These screens scratch very easily. Keeping these clean, however, is not difficult.
