Remove Blinds From WindowsFill a bathtub with warm water and 2 tbsp. of liquid dish soap. Remove the venetian blinds from the brackets by lifting them straight up. Place the horizontal blinds into the soapy water in the bathtub. Allow the blinds to soak for 20 minutes to loosen the dirt and grime.Scrub the BlindsScrub the blinds with a soft-bristled brush. Flip the blinds over, once you are finish cleaning the front side, and scrub the back side. If the water becomes too dirty while cleaning the blinds, drain the water from the tub, and fill again with clean water and dish soap.Rinse the BlindsDrain water from the bathtub. Turn on the shower and allow the spray to rinse the blinds. Turn shower off and flip the blinds to rinse the opposite side. If you have a hand sprayer in the shower, use it for better leverage. Prop the blinds on their side in the bathtub, to allow the water to drain off. Allow the blinds to air dry for 30 minutes.
