You could try laying it out on the floor and then sprinkle baking soda on it; let it sit for a while then take it outside and shake the baking soda out of it. At least, that’s what I would do. They recommend using it as a dry shampoo for smelly dogs, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for your blanket.
