How do I choose my 9 credits of Humanities and Social Sciences cluster electives?

0

Effective Fall 2007, clusters have been discontinued. Instead, the 3 Humanities and Social Sciences courses must be taken from a list of General Education Restricted Electives. The discontinuance of the Clusters Requirement automatically applies to all undergraduate students, irrespective of which Bulletin they are on; therefore, students do not need to take any action to “switch” themselves to the new H&SS GenEd requirement. In addition, any Cluster courses that students have already completed will automatically apply towards meeting the new H&SS GenEd requirement. The rules for choosing your H&SS electives can be found on page 91 of the 2007-2008 bulletin (here) and page 97 of the 2008-2009 bulletin (here) Note that at least one course must be 400 level. Also, only two of the courses can be a language, and a language course cannot be used to satisfy the 400 level requirement.
