How do I choose between Canopus DVRaptorRT, DVRexRT Pro and DVStorm?

0

The first difference is RaptopRT does not have a hardware Codec to interpret the DV into viewable video on-the-fly. It uses a software Codec. This is why it’s limited in the real-time effects it can perform. Also RaptorRT, requires rendering at the end of a project. The major difference between between DVRexRT Pro and DVStorm is Storm has S-Video and composite for video I/O and unbalanced audio. Rex has a 19″ break-out box that adds component in and out for video and balanced audio.
