• Student Financial Services will process loans from any lender who participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). (Northwestern University is not a participant in the Federal Direct Loan Program.) You may select a FFELP lender that you have used in the past, one of the preferred lenders from our lists, or a completely different FFELP lender.
