• A. Any one of the following can be used to check whether MailScan is active or not: • Run MailScan Administrator, click on `Send Test EICAR Virus’, and then checkthe LOG Files. MailScan is correctly installed if the LOG files show that warning messages have been sent. • Run “TELNET 127.0.0.1 25” (the IP-address of your Mail Server followed by the SMTP port on which your Mail Server is listening).
