How do I check the status of the return I sent to the CCRA via Netfile?

0

As soon as you submit your tax return to the CCRA via Netfile, all you need to do is wait online to receive confirmation. This will let you know if the tax return was accepted as submitted or if, for some reason, your return could not be filed electronically. Because the CCRA’s response will not be sent to your tax file at Webfile, you will have to update your file yourself by logging back into Webfile and entering the status information in your tax file. Keeping your file complete and up to date will make it more useful to you. If, for some reason, the CCRA’s reply indicates any error, you will have to correct the error directly in your data in Webfile in order to be able to create a new electronic tax return to be sent via Netfile again.
