Taking a shower before you swim is an important part of keeping our facilities clean and operating. Plus it helps protect your skin, hair, and swimming attire from chlorine. • What type of chemicals do you use in your aquatic facilities? We use a tablet chlorine and carbon dioxide gas. The two chemicals are stored well away from patrons and are checked every 2-4hrs for patron safety. If you would like to know our chemical levels please ask the lifeguard on duty. • Can I bring my pool mat or inflatable pool ring? No. We ask that you leave all inflatable items at home. We provide swim belts, kick boards, pull buoys, barbells, noodles, water jogging belts, and flippers. Please ask the lifeguard on duty about the use of our equipment, as some of our items are for special use only. • Do I have to take a swim test to swim in the deep end of the pool or to go off a slide?
