• Right click on the blue and red shield (VShield) in your task bar. • Left click on About. • A new window will appear with the words McAfee VirusScan. At the end of that line will be a v followed by some numbers. Those numbers represent the VirusScan version. • In the center of this window will be a line that says Virus definitions: followed by some numbers. Those numbers represent the DAT/SDAT version. • Another line will read Scan Engine: followed by some numbers. Those numbers represent the VirusScan engine version.
