How do I check progress of assignment of IP address to a new device?
To monitor the status of a request to create a new device or update an existing device with regard to the assignment of an IP address for the device then by watching the device data in your organisation view in NDOR you should see the value of any IP address assigned to the device in the MacAddress column of the device data (using Refresh Data in the NDOR view as appropriate). NOTE: There may be a delay of a few minutes between the device IP appearing in the MacAddress column and the IP addressing being available for use by the device connected to the campus network.
