How Do I Check My Wireless Card in My Acer Laptop Computer?
Acer laptop computers come with a built-in wireless card that allows them to access wireless computer networks. This is a great benefit, especially if you’re the type of person who utilizes wireless local area or Internet networks on a frequent basis. If you want to check the wireless card in your Acer laptop computer and see if it’s working properly, you’ll have to open a program in Windows called the Device Manager. Click “Start.” Right-click on “Computer.” Click “Properties.” Click “Device Manager.” Scroll down to the “Network Adapters” category heading in the main Device Manager window. Click on the “+” to the left of the word “Network Adapters.” Right-click on the listing for “Wireless Network Adapter.” This will be your Acer laptop computer’s wireless card. Click “Properties” to bring up its specific device properties page. You can see the status of your wireless card (whether it is enabled or disabled, functioning properly or functioning improperly) in this Properties window.
